Spanish state television returns to the Hot Bird

Eutelsat Communications has signed a contract with Spanish telecommunications operator Telefónica to lease transponder capacity Hot Bird satellite (13 degrees East longitude). It will be used for the dissemination of two free HD-channels of public broadcasting: International television program TVE (TVE International), news channel 24 Horas and six radio RNE (National Radio of Spain). TV channels TVE International and 24 Horas is now available with the Astra 1M satellite (19,2 g e) standard quality (SD). They are broadcast on a frequency 11,627 GHz, Paul. ver., SR: 22000, FEC: 5/6, DVB-S/QPSK. According to Eutelsat, this orbital position to broadcast 19,2 g e. It will be completed, and receiving and TVE Internacional Europa 24 Horas is only possible with the 13 degrees East already in HD quality.
