Current Time in Russian has received a satellite licence in the Czech Republic
The American company of RFE/RL, Inc,a subsidiary in the Czech Republic RFE/RL, Inc. from Prague, got a satellite license for a television broadcasting Current Time period 12 years.
According to the licensing conditions, Current Time will offer news of current events, journalistic programs and body magazines. The station will broadcast 24 hours a day. The license is valid in the following countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Germany, Spain and Israel. The program will be distributed primarily in the Russian language. Czech regulator of the media RRTV (Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting) at the same time informed the regulatory authorities of the States – members of the European Union – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany and Spain, that their territory may be broadcast program of the Current Time with Czech license.
